Native to the high mountains of South Africa. Drought resistant/drought tolerant plant (xeric). A High Country Gardens introduction.

Description

3" tall x 18" wide (seed/cutting propagated). Seeing a big blooming specimen of Grassleaf Mat Daisy is sure to incite plant-lust in any perennial enthusiast. In its remote South African habitat, this perennial groundcover is found growing in the grassy rock outcroppings at the southern end of the Drakensberg Mountains. The 2" diameter white and yellow daisies open just above the tight mats of evergreen foliage. Likes sandy or well-drained loam soils.Try planting it with blue-flowered Veronica pectinata nice!
