A showy mid-spring bloomer, Alyssum saxatile 'Goldkugel' lights up the garden with a profusion of small, golden-yellow flowers. Gold Ball Alyssum is a tough, low water plant for dry sites, this Old World native is an outstanding companion for spring flowering bulbs. Drought resistant/drought tolerant plant (xeric). 9-12" tall x 12-15" wide.

A tough, low water plant for dry sites, this Old World native is an outstanding companion for spring flowering bulbs such as wildflower tulips and muscari and flowering ornamental herbs. Deadhead when flowering is finished to enjoy the tidy mound of attract gray-green foliage for the rest of the growing season. Plant with Speedwells, Lavender, Rosemary, Violets or Pussy Toes.
