Description

Gladiolus Traderhorn is a brilliant scarlet gladiolus, with crisp white contrasting centers and tall, and tall, straight flower spires. Traderhorn is tall and stately, with up to two dozen 4-5" blooms on each stem. A garden favorite, these large, fire engine-red flowers with white throats will make a dramatic cut flower. Plant in spring, in groups of six or more. Gladiolus are easy to grow and prefer full sun and well-drained soil. Plant in two week intervals for extended bloom season and continuous availability of fresh cut flowers; stake flowers when needed. Gladiolus are cold hardy in zones 8-10. In colder areas, lift the bulbs and store in a cool place over the winter.
