Chamaebatiaria millefolium (Fernbush) is a choice native shrub that blooms in mid-summer with fragrant spikes of white flowers followed by ornamental seed heads that ripen to bronze. The semi-evergreen, fern-like foliage is deep olive-green in color and very attractive.
