Description

4-6" tall x 12-15" wide. A new, long blooming wildflower introduction collected from the rugged, high dry plains of eastern NM, ‘High Plains Yellow’ Sundrops is well adapted to heat, cold, wind, and drought. This prairie native thrives in harsh conditions. Beginning in late spring, colorful, red speckled buds burst open into large, brilliant yellow flowers. It’s a superb companion plant for Lavender.
