Sheer Ecstasy Bearded Iris (Iris germanica Sheer Ecstasy) wakes up our gardens with raspberry-rose flowers borne on tall stately stems. The strap-like green foliage sets off the magenta flowers perfectly. With tangerine-orange centers and beards Sheer Ecstasy’s flowers offer a saturation of color that is a garden showstopper. The flowers appear from early to mid-season and last a full three weeks as there are nine buds on each stem. Standing tall at 33-36", Bearded Iris Sheer Ecstasy makes a great backdrop to a perennial bed.

Sheer Ecstasy Bearded Iris (Iris germanica Sheer Ecstasy) are spellbinding and mesmerizing, with deep magenta-violet petals are tickled by tangerine centers and beards. This rich color combo makes Bearded Iris Sheer Ecstasy a real garden star. Plant them in well-drained soil in a sun-to-part shade location. The intense raspberry color mixes well with other Bearded Iris. Try planting Irises with different bloom times to extend the season of blooms in your garden. Snap off spent flowers as they pass and once a stem is done blooming, cut it back. The sword-like green foliage will continue to add an architectural element to your garden all season long. Easy care, just fertilize in the spring with an organic bulb fertilizer (We recommend Yum Yum Mix) and with bone meal in the fall. Cut back the foliage after the first frost to about six inches. In late spring, you will once again enjoy the rich colors of Bearded Iris Sheer Ecstasy.
