In fact, 'Blue Ice' has the showiest, most deeply colored flowers you'll see in an Amsonia. A garden hybrid of the native A. tabernaemontana and another undetermined species, this beauty is a vigorous grower and, like all Amsonia, is completely deer-proof. Plant it in and around other plants to help protect them from the deer.
