Overview
Ivory Queen Allium (Ornamental Onion) brightens the late spring garden with spheres of muted pink and ivory florets over wide gray-green leaves. Their relatively short stature for Alliums makes them a lovely choice for containers or layered with other bulbs to add a playful surprise. Hardy and pest resistant, butterflies love them. Description

8-10" tall x 8-12" wide. Ivory Queen Allium adds a lovely accent of flowery white globes to the late spring garden. It's perfect in containers, rock gardens, along a path or mixed in with other spring bloomers. Plant them with mid-late spring Muscari for a lovely combination. Allium is easy to grow and an excellent choice for a perennial bed. Planted amongst later blooming perennials, they'll enhance the mid-to-late spring garden, and their fading foliage will be hidden by the growing perennials - a perfect combination.  Plant 'Ivory Queen' in groups of 3-5 for best effect. Alliums are naturally deer and rabbit resistant, but pollinators love their small, plentiful flowers. Plant bulbs in well-drained soil, in a sunny to partial-shade spot (6 hours of sun). Plant your bulbs at a depth 5", pointy end up. Water well and only as needed if conditions are dry. Once established, 'Ivory Queen' is a drought-tolerant, hardy addition to the garden.
