Save $10 off the single plant price of $116.91 Included in the Privacy Shrub Collection are 3 plants each of: Forestiera neomexicana Berry Girl, Forestiera neomexicana Happy Boy and Buddleia alternifolia Argentea. Buddleia alternifolia Argentea (Silver Spring Blooming Butterfly Bush) has silver foliage with long, cascading panicles of lavender-purple flowers are sweetly fragrant and attract many colorful pollinators. New Mexico Privet is an attractive multi-stemmed shrub or small tree with ornamental white bark and brilliant yellow fall foliage. ‘Berry Girl’ is a female plant that sets a huge fall crop of dark purple berries eagerly eaten by songbirds. Forestiera neomexicana ‘Happy Boy’ is a male plant needed for pollination. You need both male and female Privet plants for pollination/berries. This collection does best in low fertility, dry soil. Forestiera can grow well in the East, but best for areas with lower rainfall or very well-drained soil. We recommend planting each 6 feet apart with the use of Yum Yum Mix and Root Stimulator Combo Pack for the best results. This collection is suitable for Western planting as well.
