Agastache Kudos™ Ambrosia (Hummingbird Mint or Hyssop) is a long blooming, compact grower with a constantly evolving color mix of creamy coconut, pale orange and light rose-pink flowers on short delicate-looking spikes. A perfect container plant, it flowers at a height of slightly less than 2 ft. Blooming from June through September, the plant has pleasantly aromatic foliage and flowers which will discourage deer from browsing. Kudos™ Ambrosia Hummingbird Mint has excellent cold hardiness and can be grown across most of the US. Plant in fast draining sandy or loam soils and avoid clay—the more well-drained, the better for winter cold-hardiness. A full sun planting site is best. This plant is an excellent companion for pairing up with English lavender, Veronica 'Royal Candles' and groundcover Thyme. A Terra Nova Nurseries introduction.
