Sedum plants (Stonecrop) have succulent foliage, are drought tolerant and are an important nectar source for bees and butterflies. Perennials, sedum prefer very well drained soil and full sun. The tall Sedum bloom in late summer and fall and light up the border in shades of red and pink. Sedum make excellent cut flowers and are good for drying.
