Nepeta (Catmint) is a rugged, easy-to-grow garden perennial that thrives in harsh landscapes. Catmint (Nepeta) plants are hardy and long-lived, prefer average, well-drained soil and can be planted in full sun to part shade. To promote continued blooms, shear Nepeta flower spikes after initial flowering. Catmint plants are an invaluable source of nectar and pollen for honey bees.
