FlowerKisser™ 'Delft Blue and White' English Lavender has buds and flowers that change colors over the growing season. Discovered by Chief Horticulturist David Salman, this unique lavender adds a hint of whimsy to the garden and makes a showy companion for lavenders with darker colored flowers. In hot, sunny western climates, some afternoon shade helps the plant to hold its pale colors longer. Like all lavender varieties, 'Delft Blue and White' is an essential nectar source for honeybees and butterflies. Underplant it with Turkish Veronica (Veronica liwanensis), Gray Creeping Germander (Teucrium), or Creeping Thyme (Thymus).
Plants in the FlowerKisser™ brand have been selected by High Country Gardens Chief Horticulturist David Salman. These new perennial introductions are particularly nectar-rich and attract many pollinators, including honeybees, native bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds.
