Great spring growth
By Dave D
About Me Avid Gardener
Comments about High Country Gardens Lamiastrum galeobdoblon Herman's Pride:
Planted in fall per directions underneath shady, north side drip line. Also gets neighbors snow from driveway. Very vigorous 1st spring growth with buds about to bloom in late April in Durango, co. I have It protected against deer with wire cage. Interesting foliage. Use the free water from your roof and shade from your house to make this one work in an often neglected area of your garden!
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Review of Lamiastrum galeobdoblon Herman's Pride
from Tucson area, Arizona
Very cute plant with wintergreen colored leaves and distinctive yellow/white veining, I'm hoping to use it as groundcover under a smokebush tree. Looks very nice against purple, pink, blue and yellow shades of flowers.
