Comments about High Country Gardens All Purpose ARS Shears:

After owning one of these for a month I bought a second one. I will keep this one in the house for trimming house plants, for cutting herbs that are just outside the door, and as a backup in case my garage pair ever breaks or disappears. Now that I have used this tool I can't imagine being without one - or two. Easy to use, sharp, fits into tight places, versatile.

Comments about High Country Gardens All Purpose ARS Shears:

This is a great tool. I am buying a second one to keep in the house for the house plants. It is sharp, easy to use, light, and very handy because of its shape. You can use it for a tiny snip (one little lettuce leaf) or for a bigger snip (deadheading bee balm).

      Q & A

      Customers Also Bought:

      USDA Hardiness Planting Zones

To determine if a plant is sufficiently cold hardy, the USDA created numbered zones indicating winter low temperatures; the lower the zone number the colder the winter.

      • If the coldest winter temperature expected in your area is -15°F (zone 5) then any plants rated zones 3-5 will survive the winter temperatures in your area.
      • If you live in very warm winter areas (zones 9-11) plants with zones 3-4 ratings are not recommended. The lack of freezing winter temperatures do not provide a time for winter dormancy (rest).
