The flowers are brief but spectacular, especially when planted in large drifts. Miniature Iris bulbs multiply with vigor to form colorful colonies in just a few years. Specie Iris grow much smaller (4-20" tall) than Bearded Iris, which reach about 3' tall on average. All Miniature Iris are field grown in Holland, not wild collected.
