Like early Crocus, these colorful Miniature Wildflower Iris (Specie Iris) are the highlight of the early spring garden. Mix Iris Flower Bulbs into any bulb planting to add early color. The flowers are brief but spectacular, especially when planted in large drifts. Miniature Iris bulbs multiply with vigor to form colorful colonies in just a few years. Specie Iris grow much smaller (4-20" tall) than Bearded Iris, which reach about 3' tall on average. All Miniature Iris are field grown in Holland, not wild collected.
