Daylily ‘Crimson Pirate’ (Hemerocallis ‘Crimson Pirate’) fills the summer garden with breathtaking color. Deep-toned red spider-type petals with a yellow-gold midrib are 4" across for stand-out appeal. Its red flowers are beautiful complements to the greens of a perennial bed. Or, how about combining ‘Crimson Pirate’ with other warm colored Salvia, Gazania, Coneflower and Agastache, for a true garden hot-spot? Plant in compost enriched, well-drained garden soil in a spot with full to part sun for years of garden appeal.
