By entering this contest, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

Eligibility:

  • This sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older at time of entry. Orders can only be shipped to U.S. addresses.
  • Entry is contingent on ability to enter electronically on HighCountryGardens.com. Entry by mail, e-mail, and any means other than on High Country Gardens's electronic sweepstakes entry form is prohibited. The sweepstakes is not open to: (a) any employee of High Country Gardens, (b) their immediate family members of or persons residing in the same household as those persons identified in (a) above. Each winner is subject to proof of eligibility. Void where prohibited or restricted by law.
  • The odds of winning will depend on the number of contest entries.
  • One individual will be chosen at random each week and for the grand prize.
  • Entries for the weekly winners must be submitted by 11:59am EST on Friday of each week the contest is running.
  • Grand prize entries will be accepted through 11:59pm on October 31, 2014.

    • Selecting the Winner:

  • The Sweepstakes commences on September 15, 2014, and ends on October 31, 2014. High Country Gardens will randomly choose 1 winner from entries submitted that week for the weekly prize. Weekly Winners will be notified via email and announced on Facebook no later than the following Sunday.
  • The grand prize winner will be selected randomly from all entries received on or before Oct 31, 2014.
  • The weekly sweepstakes prize is estimated at a value of $100.
  • The grand prize is estimated at a value of $500.
  • High Country Gardens will email a gift certificate code to each winner to the email address submitted on the contest entry form. Only 1 winner for each weekly contest and 1 winner for the grand prize will be selected.

    • How to Enter:

    Participants may enter the sweepstakes by visiting HighCountryGardens.com via the Internet, and filling out the electronic entry form. Participants must complete all required data requested on the electronic entry form. Incomplete or inaccurate entry forms are void. All entries must be submitted by clicking on the "subscribe" button found at the bottom of the form. Entries are limited to a total of one (1) per person. AmericanMeadows.com technology will reject any subsequent entries having a duplicate name, even if the duplicate entry appears to have been processed successfully. Entries that have been tampered with or altered are void. High Country Gardens is not responsible for entries that are corrupted or otherwise illegible. High Country Gardens is not responsible for lost, late or misdirected entries. No entries will be accepted after 11:59pm (EST) on Oct 31, 2014. All entries shall become the sole property of High Country Gardens and will not be acknowledged or returned. By entering, participants acknowledge compliance with these Official Rules, including all eligibility requirements. Entry into this sweepstakes authorizes High Country Gardens to add participant information into our marketing database. High Country Gardens will use this database to create and send emails containing interesting material, news or special offers relating to High Country Gardens.     Additional Terms and Conditions

    These sweepstakes prizes are non-transferable. No cash will be awarded. Contest entries, including the entry text and contestant name, may be featured on websites, social media channels, in print advertising, and catalogs owned and operated by American Meadows, Inc. Announcements of winners will be used by American Meadows and High Country Gardens for promotional purposes, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and our websites. High Country Gardens will not be responsible for planting or maintaining the winning individual's garden. Tax and gratuity is not included in the prize. The value of the prizes may be taxable as income. Upon receipt of the sweepstakes prize, the winner is required to comply with any and all applicable federal, state and local tax laws and pay all such taxes as becomes due with respect to the sweepstakes prize. The winner will agree to indemnify and hold harmless High Country Gardens and their employees and agents from and against any liability for such taxes. Winners agree to adhere to laws of sweepstakes as governed by the state of Vermont. Any violation of these official rules by the winner will result in the winner's disqualification as winner of the sweepstakes and all privileges as winner will be immediately terminated. High Country Gardens reserves the right to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the sweepstakes; to be acting in violation of the Official Rules. If for any reason the sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including the loss of entries by participants, or any other causes beyond the control of High Country Gardens, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this sweepstakes, High Country Gardens reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the sweepstakes. By participating in the sweepstakes, entrants agree to be bound by these rules and by the decisions of High Country Gardens, which are final in all matters relating to this sweepstakes. By participating in the sweepstakes, participants agree to release, discharge and hold harmless sponsor, its respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and other individuals engaged in the development or execution of this sweepstakes, from any liability, claims, losses, and damages arising out of or relating to their participation in this sweepstakes or the acceptance, use, misuse, or possession of any prize received in this sweepstakes.
