Note: Our High Country Gardens Spring and Fall Blooming bulbs are available only for fall planting in our online catalog. They are not available during the winter and spring seasons.

Bulbs can be planted from early September to late November or until the soil freezes. A good rule of thumb is to plant them about six weeks before the ground is frozen in your area. Keep in mind that most bulbs prefer full sun exposure. However, muscaria, allium and some daffodils tolerate partial shade. Bulbs can be planted in containers (pots) and in your flower beds with groundcovers and perennials.

At High Country Gardens, we import our bulbs directly from Holland, buying only the highest quality, largest sized bulbs available for each species. Check out our pre-planned bulb gardens and bulb collections for a beautiful garden display. Many of our bulbs are xeric!
