Alcea rosea 'Santa Fe Garden Mix'

Mixed Color Hollyhock

Description:

6-8’ x 36” wide, (seed propagated). Pictured above are some of the colors you’ll find in this beautiful mix grown in the Santa Fe garden of Donna Bonner, the creator of Yum Yum Mix. These Hollyhocks do best in hot, sunny areas in average-to-poor quality soils. Fertilize in fall with Yum Yum Mix. It’s best to cut off the flowering stalks when they’ve finished blooming to keep the plants going in future years, but leave a few stalks of your favorite colors standing to drop seed for future seedlings. Although we are unable to supply specific colors, you won’t be disappointed with Mother Nature’s selections. This mix contains richly colored variations of reds, pinks, and yellows.
Zones 4-8.

Special Notes:

Plant with Nepeta and Campanula!
