If you’ll be attending our workshop this weekend, you’ll want to know how to plant those trees that work so well in our area. A sampling includes:

  • Aspen: best planted in cool, moist soils, preferably on the north or east sides of buildings.
  • New Mexico Privet: best planted in hotter, drier locations. Has brilliant yellow fall foliage and twisting, white-barked stems.
  • Blue Spruce: best planted in large spaces; valued for blue needles and rapid growth

Inquire about our planting services. Or if you’re a do-it-yourselfer, following is a tree planting guide.
