I poked around the Garden Center with an eye to fantasy gifts and the following list is only a smidgen of the possibilities I found.

How about:

  • A beautiful glazed pot planted with a colorful Cyclamen.
  • A mesh veggie gathering bag filled with seed packets for next spring.
  • A pair of gauntlet gloves for pruning those thorny problems.
  • A phone and garden pocket for the gardener who can’t miss a call.
  • Or take a watering can and fill it—not with water, but with all sorts of goodies: hose nozzles, wildflower seeds, a rain gauge, twine and snippers with replacement blades.
