15" x 15" wide, (cutting propagated). Ah, dreaming of the plains of Spain and tilting at windmills, Kelly Grummons, master plantsman and owner of Timberline Gardens in Arvada, CO, developed 'Dulcinea's Heart' by crossing the yellow flowered Spanish species Antirrhinum braun-blanquettii with the common-bedding snapdragon. The soft, rich yellow and apricot colors of the flower are a delight! Blooming in late spring, the plant repeats strongly in late summer when deadheaded. This cold-hardy hybrid is quite xeric but also thrives in average moisture conditions as well. The key is to plant it in well-drained sandy or loamy soils with plenty of hot sun. Kelly recommends planting 'Dulcinea's Heart' with little bluestem grass (Schizachyrium) and any of the orange-flowered Agastache. Zones 5-8. 3" deep standard pot size.
