2-5' x 3-6' wide. Whale's Tongue Agave is a large, solitary growing plant (no "pups" from around the base of the plant). Our collection of this species, native to the mid-to-high elevation mountains of Nuevo Leon, MX, has very wide, powder blue leaves that make it a standout in the xeriscape. With supplemental irrigation, the plant is a fast grower reaching nearly full size in 4 to 5 years. Zones 6b (-5° F)-10. 3" deep standard pot size.
