6-8't x 4-6'w. Yucca rostrata is found in Brewster County, Texas and down into northern Mexico. This is one of the most beautiful of the Yucca's maturing to a height of 6-8' with tall woody trunk and stunning blue-green foliage. Yucca rostrata is a slow to moderate grower and it is one of the most cold hardy of the tree-like Yucca's. The pointed foliage is flexible and undulating unlike many of the Yuccas. The name rostrata means beaked -- it gets this name because the seed looks like a bird's beak. Yucca Rostrata is a great addition for any xeriscape or waterwise landscape as it is "very xeric":http://www.highcountrygardens.com/catalog/set/moisture/xeric/. Yucca are known for their huge, showy spikes of white flowers. Zones 6-10 *Photo shows a 15 year old field grown specimen.*
