Our plants of this beautiful Yucca species come from a population in western Oklahoma where the rosettes are no more than 12" in diameter. In the xeriscape, grow it in hot and dry to keep it small! Its flower spikes reach about 2-3 ft. in height. Stiff blue-green leaves, edged in white are about 3/8" wide, with some filament hair. The seed of this superb dwarf form was collected by cactus expert and Echinocereus reichenbachii specialist Jeff Thompson of Pueblo, CO. His new discovery is very rare in cultivation and a choice miniature for collectors of small Yucca and Agave! Non-collectors and rock gardeners will appreciate its tidy foliage and showy white flowers on stout bloom spikes in early summer. Zones 5-9. 3" deep Standard pot.
