6" tall x 24-30" wide. (Cutting propagated) Finally, a truly cold hardy, long-lived, long blooming perennial Verbena has been discovered. 'Annie!' was recently brought into cultivation by nurseryman Kelly Grummons, owner of Timberline Gardens in Arvada, CO. He got cuttings from a Denver customer whose grandmother (Annie) has been growing it in her Minnesota garden for many, many years. The lightly fragrant, lavender-pink flowers start up in mid-spring (late March/early April) and are continuous through hard frost in October. The plant prefers loamy or clay loam soils and thrive in full, hot sun. If after a hard summer season, the plant looks a little tired, shear it back hard to bring it back into color. Zones (3?) 4-8. 5" deep Premium pot.
