18" x 12-15" wide, (cutting propagated). After many years of work building stock of our new Beardtongue introduction, 'Schooley's Coral' is ready to release. This is a cross between Penstemon barbatus 'Elfin Pink' and 'Schooley's Yellow', a very rare yellow-flowered form of Penstemon barbatus found many years ago in the mountains near Las Vegas, New Mexico. The resulting flower spike is a subtle and exquisite mixture of yellow buds that turn pink just before opening to a lovely coral flower. Plant Schooley's Coral in a full sun position with lean, well-drained soil. Schooley's Coral has good vigor, an impressive flower count and a long season of bloom. Zones 4-8. 5" deep Premium pot.
