Heuchera 'Miracle' brings that eye-catching look of Coleus to the perennial border with its fabulous bi-colored leaves. The leaves of this French bred villosa hybrid emerge chartreuse in spring and develop their brick-red color as they mature. But the edges retain their chartreuse-yellow edge. Pink flowers top the plant in early summer. *Heucheras that have it all!* We have selected these native Heuchera as the best choice for a variety of leaf colors and proven performance. Heuchera are best grown in light shade and partial sun as they tend to bleach out in full sun. Grow in well drained, compost enriched, loamy garden soils (avoid heavy clay). In moist, cold winter climates they do best in raised beds. Many varieties are evergreen in mild winter climates. * Resistant to browsing deer and rabbits, making Heuchera and excellent substitute for Hosta in shaded/part sun beds. * Plants are tolerant of dry soil in shady conditions but need more regular watering in partial sun. * Divide the plants every 3-4 years in spring to keep the plants young and vigorous. * In USDA zone 4 and 5 climates, a moderately thick layer of winter mulch helps protect their crowns from cold damage. * These villosa hybrids withstand the humid heat of Texas, Oklahoma, the Midwest and the Southeast. * Companion Plants: Silver Leaved Creeping Nettle (Lamium), bronze leaved Bugleweed (Ajuga), variegated Sedges (Carex). 5" deep Premium pot.
