8-10" tall x 6" wide, (seed propagated). An eye catching wildflower with showy half-dollar sized white to pale-lavender daisies; it blooms for four weeks or more in late spring. This long lived perennial plant has a woody crown and very thin grass-like foliage. Seed was collected from a robust New Mexico population where this native species grows in full hot sun in dry clay-loam soil. It is adaptable to a wide range of average garden soils where it will be an easy-to-grow xeric wildflower. Plant it with Salvia dorrii or Scutellaria 'Violet Cloud' for a superb native pairing. Zones 5-8.
