15" x 12" wide, (seed/division propagated). *Green Thumb Award Winner 2006.* With our ongoing quest for cold hardy South African perennials, Agapanthus 'Coldy Hardy White' joins our growing list of offerings such as "Diascia", "Cotula", "Kniphofia caulescens" and others. A vigorous, graceful plant, it forms nice clumps of deciduous, strap-like foliage that push numerous heads of pure white flowers in mid-summer. Easily grown in average garden soils with regular irrigation. Mulch heavily the first few winters to help the plant establish itself. Introduced into cultivation in 1999 by John Hargrove (owner of Broken Silo Nursery of Michigan) who propagated it from a chance seedling that survived and prospered in spite of Michigan's frigid winters. Zones 5-10. Pot size 5" deep premium.
