16-18" tall x 12-15" wide. Everblooming sprays of coral-pink flowers cover Heuchera sanguinea ‘Weston Pink’ (Weston Pink Coral Bells) all summer long. I thought we had lost this vigorous and long lived plant, but found a couple of plants in a Santa Fe garden to use as stock for cuttings, and we have it back for spring 2014. Originally discovered in an English nursery, it was brought to the U.S. by Digging Dog Nursery about two decades ago.

Comments about High Country Gardens Heuchera sanguinea Weston Pink:

Planted near front door in an area that gets mainly indirect sunlight, sandy soil. They bloom for a long period of time in the Spring and add interest to the landscape with the blooms positioned on the ends of the stalk. Bright, cheerful pink blooms.

Comments about High Country Gardens Heuchera sanguinea Weston Pink:

These will look just like the pictures! Mine are planted in a challenging area between the porch and the walkway with some lavender. They bloom constantly and every one came back after the hard winter. Lovely plant.

      Q & A

      USDA Hardiness Planting Zones

To determine if a plant is sufficiently cold hardy, the USDA created numbered zones indicating winter low temperatures; the lower the zone number the colder the winter.

      • If the coldest winter temperature expected in your area is -15°F (zone 5) then any plants rated zones 3-5 will survive the winter temperatures in your area.
      • If you live in very warm winter areas (zones 9-11) plants with zones 3-4 ratings are not recommended. The lack of freezing winter temperatures do not provide a time for winter dormancy (rest).
