Zinnia acerosa
White Flowered Bush Zinnia
Description:
10” x 15” wide, (seed propagated). The original seed for our plants was collected by seedsman Alan Bradshaw in south central NM. This collection has proven to be more cold hardy than the low desert forms. Growing as a small semi-woody shrublet, Zinnia acerosa has hundreds of small, papery, white flowers that color the plant all summer. It is perfect for planting with other xeric plants that enjoy lean, well-drained soils. Salvia greggii “Furman’s Red” and Lavender angust. “Mitcham Gray” are good choices. Zones 5-9.
Special Notes:
Heat loving plant!
