Description:

12” x 12” wide, (division / seed propagated). White Rain Lily, with its fine chive-like foliage, is not a noticeable plant before it begins to bloom. Then suddenly, after a good mid-summer rain, the huge white flowers begin to appear and then continue for months, into early fall. Zephyranthes will thrive as a very low maintenance plant when grown in compost enriched soil and not kept dry when blooming. Plant in a large group to best enjoy a stunning display of its showy flowers. ‘Rain Lily’ is especially valuable as a groundcover planted under deciduous trees in light shade. Tolerates wet soils too.

Zones 7-10.
