Description:
18” x 18-24”, (cutting propagated). ‘Mountain Flame’ is a showy, cold-hardy, long-blooming native perennial that delights with its extravagant display of mid-summer, scarlet-orange trumpets. It is much taller than Zauschneria garrettii ‘Orange Carpet’ (with its spreading groundcover habit) and blooms up to 6 weeks earlier than Zauschneria arizonica. Plant in lean to average garden soils. Zones 5-9.
