Description:

An extremely cold hardy grape, ‘Valiant’ was developed by South Dakota State University. The small to medium seeded, blue-purple grapes are held in medium clusters and are good for eating, juice and making jelly. The plants are self-pollinating. This grape has excellent ornamental value. An extremely vigorous grower, ‘Valiant’ is the best choice for making shade overhead on an arbor or covering a wire fence to provide screening and protection from the summer winds. USDA Zones 3-7.
