Quick Facts
Legend
Description:
Used primarily used as a table grape, Petite Jewel is capable of making a very nice white wine. It typically has low acid and it also adds spiciness. Some report Muscat flavors and suggest it may be used as a blush wine. Ripens very early (late July-early August in Nebraska), and birds can be a problem unless it is covered It will hang in good condition until late in season, developing high sugar.
Very Cold Hardy.
