Quick Facts :: Growing Tips
Legend
Description:
8-12’ x 6-8’ wide (seed propagated). This easy-to-grow, low care native shrub is at the top of my list for year-round interest. The creamy white flowers in late spring are attractive to butterflies. The glossy-green summer foliage turns to glorious shades of orange, red and burgundy in fall in sunny growing conditions. And the purple-black berries, which ripen in the fall, hold on the branches to attract feeding songbirds over the winter. Grown in premium 5” deep pots Zones 4-8.
