Red Devil Verbena
Quick Facts
Legend
Description:
3” x 18” wide, (cutting propagated). This little plant blooms with a profusion of incredibly red flowers from from late spring through summer. During hot weather, regular irrigation will encourage more blooms. ‘Red Devil’ is not a rampant grower and can be interplanted around other taller perennials, where it will slowly spread with its tiny, thick 1” long leaves and its stiff woody stems. Let up on the water in the fall to harden it for winter; this is one of the most cold hardy of the Verbenas. Zones 6-10.
Special Notes:
Plant with Echinacea ‘White Swan’, Coreopsis and Salvia ‘Blue Hill’! One of the most cold hardy of the Verbenas.
