8” x 10” wide, (seed/division propagated). A Kansas prairie native this is a late spring flowering wildflower that thrives in heat and sun. Tharp’s spiderwort gently spreads to form low mounds of strap-like foliage with showy flowers ranging in color from bright pink to lavender blue. At home in a wide range of soil types with moderate to dry moisture conditions, it can be used in both traditional perennial beds and xeric plantings as a companion in front of taller growing plants. Zones 4-8
