Description:

3” x 24-30” wide (cutting propagated) (Also known as “Mauve” Thyme). This super-vigorous creeping Thyme covers many acres around the magnificent conifer groves of the Ohme Gardens Arboretum in Wenatchee, WA. ‘Ohme Garden Carpet’ has naturalized throughout the arboretum, forming a thick weed-resistant groundcover. This is impressive when you consider it covers south and west facing slopes where baking summer temperatures of 100+ degrees F are commonplace! ‘Ohme Garden Carpet’ blooms with mauve pink flowers in early summer. The foliage is similar to Thymus ‘Reiter’.

Also sold as flat with 32 pots – save $35(off the single pot price)

Zones 4-9

Special Notes:

Underplant with miniature Iris for great spring color!

Thyme plants and flats do not ship well in hot weather. Spring shipping usually stops in mid May and resumes for Fall in mid September. No exceptions please.
