Tanacetum niveum
White Bouquet Tansy
Description:
18” x 30” wide, (seed propagated). In full bloom, White Bouquet looks like a bright cloud has landed in your garden. The small yellow-eyed daisies completely smother the ornamental gray cut leaf foliage beneath the flowers. This vigorous, easy to grow Tansy is well adapted to a wide range of soils, including clay. Drought tolerant when established, it grows just fine with an occasional deep soaking. When finished blooming, cut back the old flowering wood to just above the rosette of foliage that forms down at the base of the stems. Replace old plants after 3 or 4 seasons. A great companion plant for Penstemon psuedospectabilis and Nepeta x faassenii. Zones 4-9.
Special Notes:
Plant with Penstemon pseudospectabilis and Nepeta!
