Stomatium resedolens
Quick Facts
Legend
Description:
This species has large 1 inch long leaves resembling Faucaria (Tiger Jaws). Large light yellow flowers. Forms small mounds. Originally collected 20 km east of Middlelpos, a tiny town in the most frigid area of the Great Karoo. Very nice! Zones 6-10.
STOMATIUM: I have found the plants of this genus to be among the most consistently cold hardy of the Mesemb family. These are night bloomers with fragrant flowers that perfume their immediate area. Plant in full sun.
