Quick Facts :: Growing Tips
Legend
Description:
18-24” x 15” wide, (seed propagated). This native prairie grass, with its graceful ribbon-thin foliage, adds softness to the garden. The abundant seed heads form a mist-like veil over the leaf blades beginning in late summer. As the season moves into fall, you’ll enjoy Prairie Dropseed’s beautiful golden-orange fall color! Don’t keep too dry during arid summer conditions. Zones 3-8.
Special Notes:
Grow with Agastache, lavender and Salvia pitcheri!
