Solidago sphacelata 'Golden Fleece'
Dwarf Goldenrod
Quick Facts :: Growing Tips
Legend
Description:
15” x 24” wide, (cutting propagated). This is a superb dwarf Goldenrod, recently introduced by Dr. Richard Lightly, former director of the Mt. Cuba Center for the Study of Piedmont Flora in Delaware. The sturdy, arching golden-yellow flower stems are profuse and make an eye catching display wherever they are planted. Pictured here with Aster ‘Purple Dome’ in the background. Like all of the Goldenrods, “Golden Fleece” is very easy to grow in average garden conditions.
Zones 4-9.
Special Notes:
Plant with Agastache, Salvia pitcheri and Aster ‘Purple Dome’!
