squill
Description:
6-8” tall. Late spring blooming. Introduced to cultivation from its native Yugoslavia in the early 1800s, this wildflower squill adds a carpet of deep lavender-blue spikes wherever it’s planted. A stong-growing naturilizing species, it blooms much later than Siberian Squill and can be planted with late blooming Daffodils like “Primeur”. Zones 5-8.
