Ruschia species 'Calvinia Pink'
Shrubby Ice Plant
Description:
18” x 18” wide (cutting propagated) “Calvinia Pink” was originally collected in the mountains of the Karoo Desert in South Africa by Panayoti Kelaidis of the Denver Botanic Gardens. This evergreen shrublet is the tallest of the hardy Mesembs that I have grown to date. A heavy bloomer, the specimens in our Xeriscape Demonstration Garden disappeared under a cloud of pink flowers in late spring. Zones 6-10.
