Description:
5’ x 6-8’ wide (seed/cutting propagated) This species rose from China is highly valued in the xeriscape for its profuse spring display of single sulfur-yellow flowers and excellent red fall foliage. The hips are small and not showy. Use Father Hugo rose to create hedges along fence rows and provide nesting sites for song birds. Very tolerant to many soil types and it thrives in challenging environments.
