Rosmarinus officinalis 'Irene'™ PP#9124
Irene Rosemary
Quick Facts
Legend
Description:
12-24” x 4’ wide, (cutting propagated). This is a superior new selection of Rosemary “Prostratus” discovered by Phillip Johnson. He spotted it as a volunteer seedling in a northern CA landscape. “Irene”™ has nice medium green leaves and a low mounding habit with branches that will trail over walls and containers. Its strong blue-violet flowers are the highlight of this plant as they are larger, bluer and more profuse than any other trailing Rosemary. Fantastic for pots and hanging baskets! (cv:Renzels’ P.P 9124) Perennial in
Zones 8-11.
